The institution was established in 2019 as Yorkcity Fashion Academy, where it successfully trained and developed hundreds of fashion designers over the years. In response to growing demand for additional vocational programs, the academy expanded and was fully integrated in 2026 as Yorkcity International Institute, reflecting its broader academic vision and global outlook.

Today, Yorkcity International Institute offers a diverse range of vocational programs, including Fashion Design, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Tourism and Hospitality, Business Management, Cosmetology, Videography, and more.
